The moisture separator is located on the front of the measuring cabinet or CO₂ scrubber. This separator captures absorbed condensation moisture, as moisture can be harmful to the connected measuring equipment. Emptying the moisture separator must be done manually and should be done regularly. The frequency of emptying depends on several factors and may vary by situation. We recommend checking weekly to see if the moisture separator needs to be emptied. To empty the moisture separator, turn
the drain valve at the bottom a quarter turn to the right.
After emptying, remember to close the drain valve again so that no false air is sucked in and no flow alarms occur.
