9. Emergency Stop (Alarm Emergency Stop)

The measurement system takes measurement samples from the active cold stores according to the set interval time. If the My Fruit system detects an anomalous measurement value that does not match previous measurements, an emergency stop will occur. This is intended to prevent any problems in the system, connected machines or fittings from spreading to other cold rooms. The threshold at which the system generates an alarm is adjustable.

For example, an emergency stop can occur when a cold store is opened while the system is still in CA mode. There may also be a leak in the measuring hose or a PVC pipe. Before resetting the alarm in My Fruit, the problem must be resolved.
To resolve the alarm, the following steps can be taken:
• In the My Fruit system, check in which cold store the emergency stop occurred.
• Check the readings of the cold room with a handheld meter.

If the manual measurement value matches the previously measured values and differs from the My
Fruit value:

• Calibrate the system and re-measure the cooling cell in question. If the deviation persists, check the measurement hose of this refrigeration cell.

If the manual measurement value confirms that the value deviates significantly from previous
measurements:

• Consider whether there have been any recent modifications or work on or around the cold room.
• Check that the door and window of the cold room are closed.
• Perform a visual inspection of the cold room. Check for abnormalities on connected pipes and fittings, such as valves, air buffers, fans, and so on.
• Check the operation and gas tightness of the CO₂ scrubber and cooling.
